This is a quick and simple way of making fruit appear fun and encourages children to eat a portion of their 5-a-day!
What you’ll need:
- 1 apple
- 4 small red grapes
- Slice the apple into half moon shapes (fish’s body)
- Cut the grapes in half lengthways (these are the fish’s eyes)
- Stand the slices of apple on a plate cut side down and place a grape half on the side to the front of the piece of apple and repeat on the other side.
- Cut a small triangle out of any leftover apple pieces and place at the opposite end of where the grape eyes are for the tail
